Transparency

In order to maintain the Revista Economică reputation as a reliable and respected source of scholarly research, it is essential that the membership of both the Scientific and Editorial Boards to be transparent and openly available to the public. This means that the names and affiliations of all board members should be clearly listed, as can be easily observed on the current page.

Transparency in the composition of these boards also helps to ensure that potential conflicts of interest are minimized or avoided altogether. For example, if a member of the Scientific Board has a financial or personal interest in a particular area of research, they may be more likely to favor manuscripts that support their own views or interests, rather than those that present a more balanced or objective perspective.

Board Responsibilities

The Scientific and Editorial Board of Revista Economică is composed of renowned scholars and experts in the field of economics from different parts of the world. They are invited to serve on the board based on their expertise, academic reputation, and contributions.

The main role of the Scientific and Editorial Board is to oversee the peer-review process of the journal. All submissions to the journal are rigorously peer-reviewed by experts in the respective fields of research. The board members are responsible for selecting and appointing the peer reviewers based on their academic background and research interests. The reviewers provide feedback and suggestions on the manuscript, which are then conveyed to the authors to improve the quality of the paper.

The Scientific and Editorial Board also plays a crucial role in shaping the scope and direction of the journal. They provide guidance and suggestions to the editorial team on the types of articles and research areas that should be prioritized for publication. They also help to ensure that the journal remains relevant and up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of economics.

Overall, the Scientific and Editorial Board of Revista Economică is an essential component of the journal’s quality control and editorial processes. Their expertise and guidance help to maintain the high standards of the journal and ensure that the published articles are of the highest quality and relevance to the field of economics.
